3DBox CAD is used for packaging design, including folding carton box, corrugated box, etc.

The most important thing is that you could design boxes in 3D.

The easy workflow,

    
• Drawing the box structure, or import .dxf files which can be exported by AutoCAD, Illustrator, CoreldRAW, etc.


    
• Define the 3D folding ways by yourself. The whole work is in 3D, so what you see is what you get. A new box could be done about 5 minutes.


    
• Design the artwork with Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.. Import the artworks into 3DBox CAD.


    
• Check your design in 3D.

1st. 2D Drawing

    

This program is only designed for box structure. Compared to the common CAD softwares, it has no extra features, easier to be used.

    

2nd. 2D-to-3D Definition

    

You could define a panel folds in a few steps - select a panel id, key in folding angel on the time line.
