The software has been created as general software for security hybrid platforms running at the same time with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same form and controls on the local and remote pcs.
Users view MPEG coded video and have complete management of the program using net that security pc can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular composition significantly boosts reliability because all units work as autonomous programs.
If one unit stops working, other components go on working. For instance if the `capture` unit fails, `watchdog` starts over it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture using a `playback` component. The program does `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs.
The recording can be non-stop or it can be started by motion, human face detection, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on remote workstation using Web interface.
The program performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
