Customers see MPEG-4 coded video and have complete control of the software through network that security station can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular composition considerably increases reliability because all modules work as independent software.
If one component fails, other modules continue working. For example if the `record` component fails, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video via a `playback` component. The program makes `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears.
The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by activity, human face detection, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on apart computer through Web interface.
The software makes simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many cameras concurrently. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
