The program has been created as universal application for surveillance cross platforms working simultaneously with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal look and controls on the local and remote pcs.
Users watch MPEG-4 coded video and have full control of the software through net that security workstation can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure drastically boosts reliability because all parts proceed as independent software.
If one unit fails, other modules keep on working. For example if the `record` part freezes, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture using a `playback` unit. The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens.
The recording can be constant or it can be activated by activity, human face detection, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on remote pc using Web interface.
The program does synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple webcams concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
