The program has been designed as universal product for surveillance cross platforms working concurrently with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the equal look and controls on the local and apart computers.
Customers watch MPEG-4 coded video and have full management of the software using network that security pc can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular composition drastically improves reliability because all modules work as autonomous programs.
If one unit freezes, other parts continue working. For instance if the `capture` unit freezes, `watchdog` starts over it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture through a `playback` component. The program does `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens.
The recording can be non-stop or it can be turned on by activity, human face recognition, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on distant workstation via Web interface.
The software performs synchronized video playback for event analysis from many cameras at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
