The software has been created as universal software for security cross platforms working simultaneously with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the identical look and controls on the local and apart workstations.
Customers see MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete control of the software via network that surveillance workstation can be run with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular composition significantly improves reliability because all modules operate as autonomous software.
If one module stops working, other modules go on working. For instance if the `record` part freezes, `watchdog` starts over it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` component. The program performs `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens.
The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by motion, human face detection, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on apart workstation via Web interface.
The program makes synchronized video playback for event examination from many webcams simultaneously. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
