The program has been designed as common software for surveillance hybrid platforms running simultaneously with wireless and wired Internet cameras, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the similar look and controls on the local and remote pcs.
Customers watch MPEG coded picture and have complete management of the program using network that security workstation can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure significantly increases reliability because all units proceed as independent applications.
If one component freezes, other units go on working. For instance if the `record` part freezes, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture via a `playback` unit. The program makes `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears.
The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by activity, human face detection, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on remote server through Web interface.
The software performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many webcams concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
