The program has been designed as common product for surveillance cross platforms running simultaneously with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar look and controls on the local and distant workstations.
Users watch MPEG coded video and have complete control of the software through net that security server can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure significantly boosts reliability because all units work as autonomous programs.
If one module fails, other units go on running. For instance if the `record` module fails, `watchdog` restarts it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` part. The program does `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens.
The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by motion, human face recognition, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on remote station through Web interface.
The program does synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
