The program has been designed as universal product for security cross platforms running all together with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the same look and controls on the local and distant workstations.
Users see MPEG coded picture and have complete management of the software using net that security computer can be run with no screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular configuration considerably boosts reliability because all modules operate as independent applications.
If one part fails, other units keep on running. For example if the `capture` part fails, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing video through a `playback` module. The software does `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears.
The recording can be non-stop or it can be turned on by motion, human face recognition, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on remote computer via Web interface.
The software makes simultaneous video playback for event examination from many cameras at the same time. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
