The program has been designed as common application for security cross platforms working all together with wireless and wired Internet cameras, Television-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the same appearance and functionality on the local and apart pcs.
Users watch MPEG-4 coded video and have complete management of the software using network that security station can be operated with no screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure significantly improves reliability because all components operate as autonomous programs.
If one component freezes, other components keep on running. For example if the `record` part stops working, `watchdog` starts over it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` part. The program does `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears.
The recording can be constant or it can be initiated by motion, human face recognition, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance server as well as on apart pc through Web interface.
The software does synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple cameras simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
