If one unit stops working, other components continue running. For instance if the `capture` module stops working, `watchdog` starts again it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture using a `playback` module.
The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by motion, human face detection, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording.
Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on distant workstation using Web interface. The software makes synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple cameras simultaneously.
Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
