The program has been designed as universal software for security cross platforms running at the same time with wireless and wired Internet cameras, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar appearance and controls on the local and remote pcs.
Users view MPEG coded video and have complete management of the program via network that surveillance workstation can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure extensively increases reliability because all modules work as independent applications.
If one part fails, other parts keep on working. For example if the `capture` module fails, `watchdog` restarts it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture via a `playback` module. The program does `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears.
The recording can be non-stop or it can be started by motion, human face detection, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on apart computer via Web interface.
The program does synchronized video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
